Are you in the process of planning your hut? Or perhaps are involved in a community garden or allotment that needs a composting toilet? There can seem to be a lot of hurdles to jump through: but it's all do-able. Come and join fellow composting toilet enthusiasts at Henry Fosbrooke's croft where he runs Logtagon, the place to learn about building with wood.
Monday to Friday will be all about the building, with Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th devoted to workshops looking at different toilet options. Volunteer for a couple of days in the lead-up to the weekend to get 50% off the workshops. The initial days will include an element of timber-framing techniques.
Weekend workshops will include:
- choosing the right toilet system for your situation
- planning issues
- pre-made toilet options
- practical things to consider such as urine diversion and containerising the product (not waste!)
